Lot's of catching up...

Here's to a HAPPY 2009...praying this year ends up better than 2008. The loss of my mom has hit hard, especially during the holidays. It's weird how much I miss her...at the strangest times. I miss having her to talk to the most. Just having the ability to pick up the phone and say "hi".

I am excited to see my son. His dad split the cost of his ticket (thanks B) and we are bringing Brian home for a week this month!!!

My dad will have a cystoscopy on the 5th to determine if his treatments took care of his bladder cancer...or not. He will need surgery to remove one of his kidneys (malignancy) and ureter regardless...the bladder too if the cancer is still there. I'm praying he can keep his bladder.

Here are a few shots of us with friends Scott & Melissa on New Year's Eve. Tradion has it that the guys exchange gifts...and we girls do. Scott received wireless i-pod speakers from Gary... & Gary got two nice sweaters & some Michigan State gear (he's a huge State fan). The pink toys in the background belong to little Ms. Olivia who went to bed before we started taking pictures.Melissa got a funny Christmas platter from me "equal rights for snow women"... it has "boobies" on it (too funny). She got me a "longenburger" coffee mug. Hope I spelled that right. Love my coffee!!!!I really like their dishware products. Melissa is also getting a bunch of scrapbooking stuff from me. I sold Creative Memories and bought more products than I sold. My pleasure to share it with a good friend.

Between Christmas and New Year's we had a family outing to a Plymouth Whaler's Hockey Game. Steve couldn't make it...so our friend Sheila joined us. Here is Spence. Miss Marissa all too excited about the game!

The back of Evan's head with girlfriend Caitlin. This was the best photo she would allow us to take!
