update from Florida

my mom is one brave cookie... of course she always has a smile on her face and will tell you she is fine. the mass is growing... it is pretty huge. she has a hard time moving at all. she can't eat much... gets sick when she does. my dad is holding it together as he is scared to death. she has a doctors appt this afternoon - they will probably put her back in the hospital. they let her come home on friday...for the weekend prior to surgery as you don't have much rest in a hospital. she is more comfortable at home... her own bed...etc. her friends are marvelous...they love her to pieces. this just sucks.
