A moment in my day: Just like Cinderella

I generally am pretty quiet about my friends .... and their lives in specific on my blogl. But I had to share about my friend Sheila. Sheila is one of those friends who is always there for you...no matter what. If someone needs something she is the first one to help. Life hasn't always been easy for her but she tries her best to keep a smile on her face and a positive attitude.

Sheila also is one of those...what you see is what you get people. I'm not saying with any form of negativity...she is just a no make-up, no specific hair style, "comfy" person who would wear her crocs ANYPLACE...

Well over the past year it feels like Cinderella is emerging (just a wee bit). She has lost a great deal of weight, cut over a foot off her hair and actually colored it. She is extremely self conscious of herself and has been a "NO SKIN" showing kind of person.

So when she actually had to get dressed up for a holiday party at a country club, well a few of us were DELIGHTED to help her out...and didn't she look pretty!

She is also a tad bit camera shy so getting these photos was monumental! Of course it didn't hurt to have her pose with her Christmas Tree...this girl LOVES Christmas time!
